Inspired by the refined tastes of the Georgian period, many designs reflect the celebrated Adam style of Robert Adam, with its neoclassical urns, swags, festoons, arabesques and Greek key borders. These textiles were used to create interiors of harmony, symmetry and classical restraint.
Regency Curtain and Upholstery Fabrics
The Regency era (1811–1820) introduced lighter colours alongside refined stripes, delicate florals and elegant damasks, Regency fabrics often balanced classical ornament with a playful sense of sophistication, perfectly suited to the drawing rooms and parlours of the period.
