Augustus Pugin Textiles and Fabrics
Loome are proud to present some of the timeless fabrics and textiles created by Augustus Pugin. Augustus Welby Northmore Pugin (1 March 1812 – 14 September 1852) was the pioneer of the Gothic Revival school of design and architecture. He is, famously, the designer of the Houses of Parliament, as well as many of the finest churches in England, Australia and Ireland. He designed hundreds of wallpapers and fabrics to suit the interiors of these buildings, a few of which we are able to repoduce as fabrics today.
