Dogtooth Fabric

Dogtooth fabric, also know as Hounds Tooth, hounds tooth check or houndstooth is a two-tone textile pattern made from broken checks or having abstract four-pointed shapes, often in tan or black and white.Dogtooth fabric originated in the Scottish lowlands, but has become a popular pattern for wool fabrics, especially gentlemen's attire such as jackets and shirts.

Dogstooth makes an excellent upholstery fabric pattern, being small and easy to manage there is little waste from the fabric, and the two-tone effect allows the furniture to match easily with other items and decor in the room.
