Josef Hoffmann Fabrics

At Loome we are fortunate to be able to offer the largest and highest quality collection of fabrics designed by Josef Hoffmann for the Wiener Werkstatte in the early part of the twentieth century.

Beginning in 1899, Hoffmann taught at the Kunstgewerbeschule, now renamed as the University of Applied Arts Vienna.

With the artist Koloman Moser Hoffmann established the Wiener Werkstätte, which was to last until 1932. In this he designed many products including the fabrics we offer here.
