Arts and Crafts Leon Solon - Allegorical Figures
Description
The only known textile design from the important Arts and Crafts designer and architect, Leon Victor Solon. Solon worked as a ceramic designer at Mintons Pottery from 1900-1909, then travelled to the United States where he was responsible for the decoration of the Philadelphia Museum of Fine Arts. He published Polychromy, Architectural and Structural, New York, 1924.
