From an 1878 wallpaper design by Walter Crane (1845�1915) who was the first President of the Arts and Crafts Exhibition Society and one of the leading exponents of the Aesthetic Movement. Crane�s wallpaper designs show the influence of Japanese art on British culture. This design was exhibited at the 1878 International Exhibition held in Paris, where it was awarded a gold medal. The original drawing is now housed at the V&A museum. Woven as a high quality 45cm x 45 cm cushion complete with a luxury duck feather inner pad.
