Guinevere Medieval 14th Century Lions
Description
Textiles with this geometrical interlace were mainly produced in North Africa and southern Spain. The original archive example for this fourteenth century design is held in the V and A museum and was probably made in south-west Spain in the 14th century, perhaps in Granada (the capital of the Muslim Nasrid dynasty from about 1232 to 1492).
