Inherently Flame Retardant Trevira CS Fabric

At Loome we have many curtain and upholstery fabrics which are woven from the inherently flame retardant yarn, Trevira CS. The advantage of using Trevira CS fabrics for curtains or upholstery, is that they meet Crib 5 flame retardancy standards without the application of any further treatments, thus avoiding any stiffening or discolouration of the fabric, and ensuring that no chemicals are introduced into the room.

The use of Trevira CS for curtain fabrics is often specified for hotel and other contract purposes, where maximum flame retardancy to BS 5867 must be combined with a supple drape and easy to wash and care for fabric.
