Flat Weave

Flat Weave in contrast to chenilles or velvets, is flat and has no tuft or nap. Often flat weave fabric is formed from cotton or linen based or use a mixture of these fabrics with some other synthetic element.

Lightweight flat weaves are ideal for curtains, roman blinds, scatter cushions and other light interior uses. Heavier Flat Weave is suitable for upholstery and loose sofa covers. 

Due to the flat nature of the base cloth, flat weave is great for printed floral, patterned and designer fabrics. Flat weave also lend itself particularly well to the creation of vivid well-defined designs.

Flat weave may be washable but, if not, can be dry cleaned.
