Archbald Knox Archibald Knox (born 9 April 1864, died 22 February 1933), was a Manx designer who was the founder of the Celtic Arts and Crafts style. Although Knox is best known for his Cymric and Tudric silver and pewter ware, sold through Liberty of London, he was also a prolific textile designer. His unique style blends Celtic motifs and themes with the simplicity of the Arts and Crafts movement. The resulting designs are truly unique and instantly recognisable.
