George Mann Niedecken (1878-1945) was a major designer in the Prairie Style and is known for his important collaborations with Frank Lloyd Wright. Niedecken called himself an "interior architect" and collaborated with FLW to create the interiors of several major houses in the Milwaukee area. This fabric design is an adaptation of the design used on his design for a library for Mr Ferdenand A.W. Kieckhefer house in 1910. Printed on cotton linen with a large vertical repeat (121cm) it is suitable for curtains. Also available in a smaller repeat for light-use upholstery use.
